Upload your product photos once to the Inbox Photo gallery, grouped by category. Every seller can then open the gallery from the answer box and send the photos to a customer with one click, without hunting through their phone.
Where to find it
Admin › CRM › Inbox › Replies & automations, then the Photo gallery tab.
Only people with the Inbox settings feature see this page (the owner and the Admin role have it). Sellers do not upload here, but every seller who answers chats can send from the gallery.
Step by step
- Open Replies & automations. The Photo gallery tab opens first.
- Under Add photos, type a category, for example "Three-piece" or "Bed sheet". Categories you used before show up as suggestions.
- Add a name if you like. If you leave it empty, the file name is used.
- Choose the files and press Upload.
- To move a photo to another category, type the new category under it and press the tick.
- To take a photo out, press the bin under it.
How sellers send them
- In a chat, press the Product photos (gallery) button in the answer box.
- Pick a category at the top, or All.
- Click the photos you want, then press Add to the answer.
- Write a line if you want, and send.
Good to know
- Files you can add: photos (jpg, png, webp, gif), videos (mp4, mov) and PDF.
- Size: up to 30 files at a time, 25 MB each.
- No category typed? The photos go into "General".
- Ten per answer: one answer can carry up to 10 files, counting gallery photos and files from the computer together.
- Private: gallery photos are only shown to your team inside the panel.
- Removing is safe: a photo you remove from the gallery stays in the chats where it was already sent.
- Comment chats: the gallery button is not shown when answering a post comment. Comments are answered with text.
- The gallery button only appears once the gallery has at least one file.
Common problems
- There is no gallery button in the answer box. The gallery is still empty, or the chat is a post comment.
- "Photos (jpg, png, webp, gif), videos (mp4, mov) or PDF only." One of the files is another type. Save it as one of these and upload again.
