When you sign up with your email, we send a mail called Confirm your email — eCommerce Autopilot. Open it and click Confirm my email. That is all: your email is confirmed and the notice in your admin panel goes away.
Where to find it
- The mail: in the inbox of the email you signed up with (look in Spam too).
- The notice: at the top of your store's admin panel, until the email is confirmed: "Please confirm your email — we sent a link to …". It has a Send again button.
Only the store owner sees this notice. Staff never do.
Step by step
- Open the inbox of the email you used at sign-up.
- Find the mail Confirm your email — eCommerce Autopilot. If it is not there, check Spam.
- Click Confirm my email.
- A page opens that says Email confirmed.
- Click Open my admin panel to go back to your store.
If the mail never came:
- Sign in to your admin panel.
- On the notice at the top, press Send again.
- You see "We sent the confirm link again to …". Check your inbox again.
Good to know
- The link works for 7 days. After that it stops working; press Send again for a fresh one.
- Signed up with Google? Your email is already confirmed, because Google has checked it. You will not get this mail and you will not see the notice.
- Send again can be pressed 3 times in 10 minutes. If you press it more often, wait a few minutes and try again.
- The mail always goes to the email address on your account, so check that it is spelled right.
Common problems
- "This link is old or broken." The link is older than 7 days or was not copied in full. Press Send again in the admin panel and use the new mail.
- "The email could not be sent right now." Sending failed for a moment. Try Send again a little later.
- "Your email is already confirmed." Nothing more to do. Reload the admin panel and the notice is gone.
- No mail at all, even in Spam. Wait a few minutes, then press Send again once. Do not press it many times in a row.
