How do I check a send-money payment before sending the parcel?

A send-money order shows what the customer wrote in the order's note: the wallet, the number they sent from, the TrxID and the amount. Find that transaction in your bKash, Nagad, Rocket or Upay app. If it matches, record the payment and confirm the order.

Where to find it

Admin › Online store › Website orders › All orders (or Pending). The send-money line is in the order's note:

• Payment Status column: click the order's status (cod) to open Order Payments. The note is shown at the top. This window is for the owner (feature Payments & profit (owner)).
• Order Edit (pencil icon): the line is in the Note box. Staff with the Website orders tick can see it here.

The line looks like this:

"Payment by send money — Nagad from 01XXXXXXXXX, TrxID 7KD93HF2QA, ৳1,450 (check before sending)"

Step by step

1. Open the order and read the send-money line.
2. Open the wallet app (or statement) of the number the customer chose.
3. Search for the TrxID.
4. Check three things: the TrxID is there, it came from the number the customer wrote, and the amount is the full ৳ amount in the line.
5. If it all matches, click the order's Payment Status to open Order Payments.
6. Check the Amount, set Paid on, and write a Payment Note such as "Nagad TrxID 7KD93HF2QA".
7. Press Update. The Payment Status changes to paid (or partial if less came).
8. Confirm the order as usual: change its status to Processing.

Good to know

• The shop never marks send money paid by itself. It cannot see your wallet, so checking is your job. That is why the line ends with "(check before sending)".
• The amount in the line is the order total when it was placed, including the delivery charge.
• Pay Via in Order Payments offers Cash or Card. Write the wallet and TrxID in the Payment Note so you can find it later.

Common problems

• The TrxID is not in your app. Check the other wallets you listed; the customer may have picked the wrong one. If it is still missing, call the customer before you send anything.
• Less money came than the order total. Record what came. The status shows partial, and the rest can be collected on delivery.
• You cannot check it right now. Put the order On Hold until you have checked.
