How do I change my admin password?

Click your name at the top right of the admin panel and choose Change Password. Type your old password, then the new one twice, and press Update. You are then signed out, so sign in again with the new password.

Every admin login — the owner and each staff member — can change their own password here.

Step by step

Click your name or picture in the top right corner.
Choose Change Password.
In Old Password, type the password you use now.
In New Password, type the new one — at least 6 characters.
Type it again in Confirm Password.
Press Update.
You see "Password has been updated", and the page takes you back to the sign-in page. Sign in with the new password.

Good to know

Use a strong password. The page accepts 6 characters, but longer is safer: mix words, numbers and a symbol, for example a short sentence you will remember.
Never share your login. Give every person on your team their own login in Administration › Users & access › Users & logins, so each person signs in as themselves and you can block one login without touching the others.
Setting a password for a staff member. In Users & logins, press Edit / password next to the person, type a New password (at least 8 characters) twice and save. Leave it empty to keep the old one. This is for the Super Admin and anyone given the Users & access feature. Only the owner can change the owner's own account, and only a Super Admin can change another Super Admin.
Forgot your password? You cannot use this page without the old password. Use Forgot password? on the sign-in page, or, for staff, ask the owner to set a new one in Users & logins.

Common problems

"Old password did not matched!" — The old password is wrong. Check Caps Lock and the keyboard language (English, not Bangla), then try again.
"The new password must be at least 6 characters." — Make the new password longer.
"The new password and password confirmation must match." — The two new passwords are different. Type both again carefully.
