Open YouTube marketing. Under each comment that needs an answer, type your reply and press Reply. The answer goes to YouTube as your channel, so you never need to open YouTube.
Where to find it
Admin › Online store › Marketing channels › YouTube marketing (মার্কেটিং চ্যানেল › ইউটিউব মার্কেটিং). Once the channel is connected, this link opens YouTube comments.
You need the YouTube comments tick (the owner always has it). The number next to the link shows how many comments are waiting for an answer.
Step by step
- Open YouTube marketing. You start on Needs reply, with the waiting count in brackets.
- Each comment shows the person's name, the video, when it was written and its likes.
- To find something, pick a video in All videos, or type in Search words or name and press Search.
- Type your answer in the box that says Answer as your channel's name.
- Press Reply. "Answered on YouTube." shows, and the comment leaves Needs reply.
- If a comment needs no answer (a thank-you, an emoji), press Done. Press Undo done to bring it back.
How it works
- New comments come in every 10 minutes. To fetch them at once, press Bring new now.
- A comment needs a reply when the last word in its thread is not your channel's. If the person writes again, it comes back to Needs reply.
- Answers you write on YouTube are noticed too. The comment moves out of Needs reply at the next fetch.
- All shows every comment. Answered shows the ones answered or marked done.
- Open on YouTube ↗ opens that comment on YouTube.
Good to know
- Write as the shop. Every reply is public and shows your channel's name, whoever on your team wrote it.
- One answer can be up to 5,000 characters.
- YouTube's free daily limit fits about 200 answers a day.
- Turn questions into orders. For a "price?" or "how to order?" comment, answer with the price and your shop's product link.
Common problems
- "The YouTube channel is not connected." The channel was never connected or was disconnected. Someone with Marketing channels connects it on the setup page.
- "YouTube connection expired". Ask the owner to press Connect again on the setup page.
- No Reply box. The channel is not connected. You can still press Done.
