How do I add a Google Map to my shop?

In Google Maps, find your shop, press Share › Embed a map › Copy HTML, and paste the code into Google Map Embed Code in Admin › Online store › Store design › General settings. Press Update, and the map appears on your shop's Contact us page.

Where to find it

Admin › Online store › Store design › General settings (অনলাইন স্টোর › স্টোর ডিজাইন), the last box on the page. The store owner always sees it; staff need the Website design feature (the Admin role has it).

Step by step

Open Google Maps on a computer.
Search for your shop or office by name or address, and click it so its details open.
Press Share.
Open the Embed a map tab.
Pick a size if you like, then press Copy HTML.
In your admin panel, open General settings.
Click into Google Map Embed Code and paste. The code starts with <iframe.
Press Update.
Open your shop's Contact us page (your store address + /contact-us) and check the map.

Good to know

Where it shows: on the Contact us page, next to the "Get In Touch" form. It does not appear on other pages.
Paste the whole code, from <iframe to </iframe>. A plain Google Maps link (one starting with https://maps.app.goo.gl/…) will not draw a map.
No shop on Google Maps yet? Search for your street or area and embed that, or add your business to Google first and come back.
If the box is empty, the Contact us page shows a sample map that is not your shop. Add your own map so customers are not sent to the wrong place.
Messages from the Contact us form go by email to the Admin Email set in Email (SMTP), or to the owner's email if that is empty.

Common problems

The page shows code instead of a map, or nothing at all. Only part of the code was pasted, or it was a link instead of the embed code. Copy it again from Embed a map › Copy HTML and paste the full text.
The map shows the wrong place. You copied the code before clicking your shop on Google Maps. Search again, click your shop, and copy the code from its own Share button.
The map is too wide on phones. Choose a smaller size (for example "Small" or "Medium") on the Embed a map tab and copy the code again.
