How do I add homepage slider banners?

Go to Admin › Online store › Store design › Sliders, fill in the Slider Create form (title, picture and a link if you want one) and press Save. The banner appears in the slider at the top of your home page.

Where to find it

Admin › Online store › Store design › Sliders (অনলাইন স্টোর › স্টোর ডিজাইন). The store owner always sees it. A staff member needs the Website pages & content tick in Users & logins (Admin and Manager have it).

Step by step

Open Store design › Sliders. The form is on the left, your banners are listed on the right.
Write a Title, for example "Eid collection". It is for you; customers see only the picture.
Add a Description if you like (optional, also only for you).
Choose the picture in Image.
In Link, paste where the banner should go when tapped, for example a category or a landing page address. Leave it empty if the banner should not open anything.
Press Save.

To change a banner, press the pencil icon next to it. To remove one, press the bin icon.

Good to know

Picture size: every slider picture is resized to 1500 × 400 pixels. Make your banner in that shape (wide and short), or it will look stretched or squashed.
Order: the newest banner shows first. There is no order number; to move a banner to the front, add it again and delete the old one.
Phones: the same picture shows on phones, much smaller. Put big, short text in the middle and keep the edges simple.
Light files: big JPG or PNG pictures get a lighter WebP copy by themselves, so they load faster.
Themes: the slider is part of the Default store theme. The other ready-made themes draw their own top section and do not show these banners.

Common problems

My banner does not show on the home page. Check which theme is on in Store design › Store themes. Sliders show only with the Default theme.
The banner looks stretched. The picture was not 1500 × 400. Make it again in that size and upload it with the pencil icon.
Tapping the banner does nothing. The Link is empty. Edit the banner and add a full link.
