A seller presses Break at the top of their Inbox and picks a reason, such as namaz or food. While on a break, no new customers come to them, but the customers they already have stay with them. They press Back to work when they return.
Where to find it
Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox, top right, next to the Available button.
The Break button shows only while the seller is Available. The break reasons are set by the owner or office in Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox settings › 2. Rules › Break reasons.
Step by step
- Open Admin › CRM › Inbox › Inbox. Make sure you are Available.
- Press Break.
- Pick the reason from the list, for example "নামাজ" or "খাবার".
- The button now shows On break, the reason and the minutes so far.
- When you are back, press that button (Back to work). You see how long the break was, and new chats come to you again.
Good to know
- Your customers stay with you. A customer you already have keeps coming to you during the break, so they do not have to explain everything again to someone new.
- New customers already given to you keep their clock. If a new customer was given to you just before the break and is not answered yet, the answer clock still runs and the chat can move to another seller. Answer them first, then go on the break.
- The break does not end by itself. Remember to press Back to work.
- The office can see it. Inbox live shows who is on a break, the reason, and how many minutes of break each seller took today.
- Break reasons. The default reasons are নামাজ, খাবার, চা বিরতি, মিটিং and অন্যান্য. The owner can change them, one per line. If the list is empty, the seller sees a single Break choice.
- A break is not the same as stopping work. When you finish for the day, press the Available button instead, so your waiting customers go to someone who is working.
Common problems
- There is no Break button. You are not Available. Press Not taking new chats first so it turns to Available.
- A customer moved away during my break. It was a new customer you had not answered yet, and the answer clock ran out.
